The International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) has signed an agreement with a leading construction firm towards building a residential hotel tower in Makkah.

The 29-storey tower, in Ajyad area in Makkah, is slated to have a total built-in area of 24,375 sq m, the report in Arab News said.

'It will have all the facilities and services offered by big hotels, including restaurants, car parks, and spacious and well-furnished rooms,' bin Khalil Basha said.

He added that the tower would have 518 rooms and a praying area accommodating more than 600 worshipers, the report said.
