Bahrain Bay project 'on track'
Bahrain Bay Development Company, the main developer of the $2.5 billion (BD945 million) upmarket offshore district on the north-eastern coast of Bahrain, announced that the project is on track.
The company participated in the MIPM expo, held in Cannes, France. Sixteen international developers, who have bought plots of land in the project, also took part.
The three main developers of the project Arcapita, Four Seasons and CapitaLand have been joined by investors like Al Jomaih Investments, Co-operation Investment House, Khaleej Capita and Reliable Investment.
Work on the initial stages of their individual projects is in progress, Bahrain Bay chief executive Bob Vincent said. He expressed confidence about the success of the project despite the economic crisis.
