Conditions and steps to apply for a mortgage

  • Minimum age should be 21 years at the time of the application
  • Maximum for salaried expatriates should be 60 years at the time of the maturity of the loan
  • For UAE nationals, the maximum age should be 65 years at the time of the maturity of the loan
  • Mortgage term is usually up to 15 years for expatriates / foreigners
  • Select a property within approved projects of developers
  • Make an initial down payment to the developer
  • Visit out specialized home loan centers
  • Your documents will be credit appraised and a decision will be communicated

For Self-employed

  • Trade license
  • Latest three-six months bank statements (firm/personal)
  • Copy of the facility letter
  • Audited financial statements of the last 2 years

For Salaried

  • Liability letter from the bank

For Non-residents
